If you seek only happiness you will discover that you have harmed those around you and even yourself trying to find it. And the happiness that you do find will be fleeting and defective. Seek after God’s will and you will find genuine and everlasting happiness. Jesus says: “Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.” Matthew 6:33
