Like the apostles, we, too, are invited to find Jesus living today in the midst of us, to touch him through the Eucharistic body. For this same body of the risen Jesus is present among us at every Badarak (Divine Liturgy) and it is given to us to recognize Him by receiving Him. At the Communion table, we are taken back to that first meal with Jesus and his disciples in the upper room, becoming part of the celebration. Receiving the body of Jesus, we receive the seed of our own resurrection, which takes away our sin and wants to transform our lives.
