At His Feet

Have you ever wondered how some believers remain so calm in adversity? It feels like they are always in the presence of God. They inspire you to examine yourself and seek Christ more. These people have learned the secret of laying at the feet of Christ.

In Revelation 1:17-18 we read: “When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. But he placed his right hand on me, saying, “Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last and the Living One. I was dead, and see, I am alive forever and ever, and I have the keys of Death and of Hades.”

Imagine being in His presence, where He is far more real to you than anyone else. There is a great sense of awe when you’re with Christ. I’m not talking about some charismatic thing; I’m talking about His glory being right before you. The feet of Christ will change your life. There is nothing like being in His presence. When you lay at the feet of Christ, you learn to be still, and your entire perspective on life changes.

Think about those moments when you’re truly at peace, feeling that deep connection with God. It’s when you’ve let go of all your worries and just rested in His presence. This is where transformation happens. This is where you find strength, hope, and a renewed spirit. When you lay everything at His feet, you’re not just surrendering your problems, but you’re also embracing His power and love.

In our fast-paced world, it’s easy to get caught up in the chaos, but remember, God’s presence is our place of rest. So, let’s make a conscious effort to seek Christ more. Let’s strive to be like those believers who are always in His presence. Let’s learn to lay at the feet of Christ and experience the profound peace and transformation that comes from being close to Him.
